How To Get Around Summit County For Free

Document.jpegOne of the most convenient services Summit County, Colorado offers is the Summit Stage. The Summit Stage is a free bus service that has connected routes throughout the county. There is a stop to go to Copper Mountain a block away from the Frisco Lodge. Two blocks down is a bus stop route that will take you to Breckenridge. All for free!

Free public transit throughout Summit County, Colorado

Summit Stage offers free public bus service throughout Summit County, Colorado, providing service to ski areas, lodging, town centers, retail areas, medical centers, and some residential areas. Summit Stage also provides complementary ADA paratransit service.

Bus Schedule

The summer schedule began April 18 and runs through December 10. The winter schedule begins December 11 and runs through late April 2017.

The Swan Mountain Flyer route between Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin ski areas resumes with limited frequency on Sunday, November 20. Please see the Limited Swan Mountain Flyer schedule. Full Swan Mountain Flyer service begins December 11.

Bike Racks on Buses 

Summit Stage buses DO NOT HAVE bike racks over the winter season.  Buses are only equipped with bike racks from May 1 through October 31. Learn how to use Summit Stage bike racks.
