Staying in our Frisco bed and breakfast? You gotta eat, right? Well, of course, the Frisco Lodge offers a gourmet “made to order” breakfast each morning of your stay, and complimentary afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres, but what about lunch and dinner? Well, you are in luck as our Summit County bed and breakfast resides smack dab in the middle of Main Street Frisco with more than 40 restaurant, café, bar and bistro choices to satisfy every culinary appetite and budget. Add the variety of fine dining and fast food selections on Summit Boulevard just down the street and no visitor of our Colorado bed and breakfast will ever go hungry.

Now, of course, just how refined your palette is may be the final decision maker on where you choose to each lunch or dinner, but the following is a sampling of a few of our favorites (remember, our Frisco bed and breakfast has been in the family for over 50 years).

boatyard.jpgWithin walking distance, and across the street from the Frisco Lodge, resides the Boatyard American Grill. Open for both lunch and dinner, The Boatyard specializes in contemporary American cuisine, including Mediterranean, Southwestern, Pacific Rim and Traditional American fare. A family friendly establishment with affordable prices, one can choose from steaks and seafood straight off the grill to seasoned veggies and gourmet salads – all prepared fresh daily from the finest ingredients. Stop in for a quick bite during your busy day, sit back and enjoy a relaxing dinner or experience good times with good friends at the warm and inviting bar. Whatever your pleasure, the Boatyard has a little something for everyone.

If you prefer handcrafted breakfast and lunch, also conveniently located within walking distance from our bed and breakfast in Frisco CO, is The Butterhorn Bakery & Café. In business for about 40 years now, The Butterhorn is the locals and tourist’s favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. With reasonable prices and great food including salads, sandwiches, baked goods and an all-day breakfast menu, you won’t be disappointed.

A dramatic structure of log, stucco and stone, Backcountry offers a full lunch and dinner menu of traditional American pub fare as well as a diverse array of award-winning ales and lagers crafted to appeal to the outdoor and adventure-oriented folks that choose Summit County for their recreation and relaxation.

Of course, this is just 3 of our favorites to start out with, but the long and varied list of establishments within minutes from our Frisco bed and breakfast includes just about every type of cuisine one could imagine. If the aforementioned choices don’t get you salivating, check out the Town of Frisco’s dining list to see what else this charming town has to offer.
