Rowing Regatta - Lake Dillon Challenge

Canine 4k

August 1, 2009 – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Frisco goes to the dogs during the Canine 4K on August 1st! Typically a very pet friendly town, Frisco is hosting this 19th annual run/walk which supports the League for Animals and People of the Summit (LAPS). LAPS supports pets and owners in Summit County with medical assistance and spay and neuter programs.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Historic Park Gazebo on Main Street Frisco. The race will start promptly at 9:15 a.m. Be sure to arrive early for a chance to meet different pet vendors and get doggie swag! Plan to stay a little after the race to see if you have won in your age category and to try out at the “Mountain Mutt Contest” where you could win prizes for best dressed dog, best singer, pet-owner lookalike, and other entertaining events.
